Default Testing 1999 26ZX with shorty. Prop blowout

Has anyone ran a -2 imco on a 26ZX ? helping out a friend and we can't get the boat on plane with a 28p 4 blade B1. Boat has 600SC motor and 1.5 ratio shorty.

I'm thinking a 5 blade may help.

They were set up very high X from the factory. You might get by with a half inch to an inch shorty but 2" there ain't any water left for the prop to grab. Either extension box or spacers to get the prop down... maybe a big diameter 5-6 blade could get a hold of it
