I know there are many threads on the conversion being possible. That being said does anyone have pictures on a Merctrans with cable shifting? (Stock or a conversion kit) As many of you know KC marine isn’t around anymore as a source for these old trans and drives. Anyone with experience on the conversion details or pictures please chime in.

Do a Wayback Machine internet search for the KC Marine Website.
There is info there about the MercTrans.
For the elec to manual shifting...it.mentions it's only a 30 min job.
Assuming just a cable hookup to a lever, vs a solenoid activated lever.
I haven't yanked mine out yet to have a good look.

Thanks for the reply. Turns out the shop next door to me had a merctrans laying in a junk pile with the shift linkage for a cable set up. I grabbed a bunch of measurements and welded up a copy cat system out of some steel bar and square tube. May not be as pretty but I think it’ll work. If I tig weld a nice one I’ll post the blueprints for it.
