Anyone into StandUp skis?
#1
Been toying with the idea for a while and just went and grabbed a couple stand-ups - well, truth be told, I grabbed one and then told him I'd give him full asking if he'd throw in the extra ski he had with an engine, pump and two carbs. I think he took sympathy on me once I told him I had two kids and figured I would need two skis....
1987 JS550 and a 1978 project ski. I'm liking the Neon! Can't wait until summer.....

Totally depends on the water temp!
Only thing about older skiis is they are slow compared to the newer stuff. So if these are for kids, slower is probably ideal but if a 230 lb guy is trying to get it up on plane there might be a problem.

Wow, that brings back memories! A buddy had a Kawasaki 440 if my memory is correct, and once one got the hang of it, was beyond fun. REALLY gave you a workout though! Gawd...30+ years and 30+ pounds ago, lol!

I think the girls will like the pink!!
Yes - I have a 3 seater GTX and outside of pulling the kids on tubes I have never used it. I'm not sure how people just go aimlessly drive around on them....
I'm 170. Kids weigh about 70 lbs so I'm pretty confident it will be enough for them!!
Yes - 2,200 for everything and they both have titles so I felt pretty good about it. Burn that much on fuel for the CIG so it's all relative!
I've heard they will wear your ass out.
I think I'm going to make the kids restore the red one. They are so simple they are easy to learn to wrench on...
