I had purchased a pressurized brake bleed kit from Speedi-Bleed to do my vehicles. I had just replaced the entire brake system on my 03 Suburban and wasn't going to speed 3 days yelling up and down to my wife. Needless to say this thing is awesome. My trailer is 12 years old and other than repack bearings I hadn't touched the brakes. So I made an adapter for the master cylinder and used the pressurized bleeding system to get the job done in under an hour. Here is a picture of my adapter.

A vacuum system would work as well. I spent a few hours trynig to bleed the brakes on my 2010 avalanche. after replacing both rear calipers. Just would never bleed out right and pedal was always spongy. So i hooked a vac up to the master cyl and BAM back to normal

I have a pressure system too. Definitely the way to go, even over vac systems, for most brakes . clutches, and etc.

I make the adapters the same you did for things I don't have, or they don't sell, an adapter for. Buy another cap and put a fitting in it.

Air press bleeding works well, just don't let the master cyl run out of fluid.

one assumes you only use a few psi of air pressure?

I use 30 psi to the regulator on the bleeder and 15psi on the master cylinder. I have tried suction style bleeders and they are garbage compared to the Speedi-Bleed. The problem with the suction style is they pull air around the threads of the bleeder. Pressure bleeding is sealed and no air bubbles. I use the suction bleeder to suck the oil out of my lawnmower now.

Boy do I feel stupid for all the yrs I used a trailer ball, bolted to a stick, locked in the coupler while I pushed!
