I’m only a couple hours away and was planning to head down on a weekday with my brother to do some testing with the boat and more than anything get out on the water for a day without the wife and kids
Are the marinas and restaurants open on the weekdays during the off-season? Just need a place to eat some lunch and fuel up.
I would assume so, but would hate to get down there and everything be closed up.
thanks

Most of the places directly in Osage are open. Redhead is year-round, as are the "view" places like Baxter's/JBHooks and Bentleys
Lunch stuff like Wobbly Boots and such are open as well. We usually start heading out in April and don't stop until late September.

Thanks man! We’ll probably head down early on a Friday and make a day of it. Should be decent water this early in the season for my little 27’.

Most of the on water places are starting to open now, especially Fri-Sun. Lakehouse13 has great food. Shorty Pants has wonderful cajun food. Never go wrong with Redheads but shopping next door can hurt.......

Just got here yesterday for the week. Water is a bit chilly (45 degrees) but appears fairly clean given all the rain we've had down here. Bass tournament this weekend combined with the sunny 60 degree day yesterday and there were a lot of boats out. Couple TG's were even out running yesterday.
I know Redhead, Margaritaville, and Dog Days are open for on-water spots. Had lunch at JB Hook's yesterday. Outstanding food and view as always. Places were packed yesterday along the road. Unusually busy for this time of year.

it’s a fantastic lake and the people are awesome. Quasi secret spot for a long time only really known to performance boaters and people in the area. But like most things fantastico, everyone wants a piece. Good for local economy and real estate market there but maybe not so great for locals that are resistant to change. And more crowds.
either way, we’re looking forward to the rendezvous in June. I was actually on Zillow today looking at places to buy out there. Lol 😂😂
