Default Looking for Suggestions. 28 - 36' V Bottom. Rough Water Boat

Looking for a 28-36’ V bottom. Must be a good rough water boat that can run 90+ single or twin I/O, No eggbeaters. Something that is quality, not a cheap production boat. Deeper cockpit is a plus.

Willing to do a full restoration or possibly buy new.

Thanks

Active Thunder is one brand to consider in your search if you are able to find one for sale.

Your requirements are pretty wide open. Are you doing the restoration yourself or paying a shop to do it? When do you expect to be on the water?

Love my Outerlimits SV 29. 98 MPH with a single Merc 565. I'm not aware of any pre owned ones on the market but I'm sure they would be happy to build you one.

Not really that wide open if you think about it.

Not many boats are good rough water boats in that size, then you eliminate all the mass production line stuff, factor in the 90+ mph, and don't forget no egg beaters. Actually not left with too many options.

Willing to do some work our selves, but would be rigged at a shop, or possibly buy new. If it were new, it would heavily depend on the price, due to the massive hit I would take if I wanted to get rid of it shortly thereafter.

As far as a timeline is concerned, I don't need it today, but would like to be up and running no later than 2024.

I think Nirta boats out of Sweden is doing some interesting stuff that fits all those requirements. The have a 30' with a deep, even fully enclosed cockpit and 26' deadrise hull. I am told the performance vastly exceeds the spec listed on the website due to silly swedish laws.
