Does anyone have a factory tune file for this ? I think mine have been messed with at some point in ownership. Thanks.

Doubt youll ever get a copy of the factory tune file. Mefi burn cracked the code on the most common ones BUT no longer share that with anyone. I asked them years ago for a stock 5.7 tune and they said ther was never enough demand to go thru effort to figure out the password. I would love to see just a stock 5.7 or 377 tune myself just for reference, Smitty

how does whipples sell upgrade tunes for these? Are they just full custom deals? I figured they were modified stock folders.

I think whipple pays mercruiser in some way, a whipple file also comes locked though so they dont allow you to see their tune either

I don't have any MEFI 3 but do have some MEFI 1 377 Scorpion, stock 350 Mag/MPI and I believe a 454 tune, but all MEFI 1.

what file form is it? I’d like to take a look and see what if mine is close or not.

so in looking at yours to "SEE IF ITS CLOSE", You have viewed your current file and its unlocked? That tells you its been definately retuned if so
