Can I put a 1993 Mercruiser water pump mounted style fuel pump into the older style block fuel pump boss on a Gen IV block? Is it backward compatible? Thanks

Don't think so. The block mounted pumps are easy to find. Holley makes several versions that work great.

I think the radius of the arm is different and shorter

Thanks, it does not fit. Arm is shorter for sure.
