Default Overheating at FOT with whipples

I have one 1 1/2 water pickup going to a single strainer feeding twin motors. Temp was always good running FOT. I installed whipple 3.3s with intercoolers and two stage pumps and now am overheating at FOT or high speeds. Once i back off temp starts to drop right back down.
Thought about restricting the outlet of intercoolers to try and feed the block more water. What are some thoughts.

Install a second pickup and second strainer. No way I'd feed twins with one through hull and one strainer

What he said ^
Flow is what cools the intake charge, not holding the water in the cooler.
