The 53rd Eliminator Boats Regatta is coming to Lake Havasu next week, and title sponsor Ilmor Marine has some cool news to share.

I wonder if it is their version of this one. From talking with other marine vendors GM builds and tunes the base motor and the integrators put the marine parts on (cooling etc). KEM even uses GM's video of the motor.

If you look at the sort of dyno results KEM has this thing puts out some nice power.

If it is I bet Ilmor's version will look better.

I'd say yeah.
But more of their own version so to speak.
Ilmor is already producing LT4's for Mastercraft wake boats.
That poster in the SOW article appears to have headers versus catalyzed manifolds for the wake version.
That may be the 20HP difference.

Are they running that Venom drive in front of that new mill? They announced that last year, but didn't get much fanfare afterwards.

What might have been. Ilmor was field testing a supercharger for their V-10 platform with Craig Wilson back in the day when the bottom of the market dropped out - so they instead dumped the supercharger development and not long after all new V-10 manufacturing. Sucks. Would love to have gotten my hands on two of those SC's for my V-10's.
