Quick help,
I just rebuilt my motors and purchased a hardin seaward series manifold set for my 700sci's
I would like to start up the engines on the hose outside the water just to make sure everything is in order. I do not want to use the old tailpipes yet due to leak issues.
Would it be fine to start engines with manifolds on but no tail pipes just to run for 5 to 10 minutes on the hose?
Thanks

Could always go to hardware and grab a couple 4” elbows and short ext duct pipes. Yes sounds cheesy but it’s worked for me in the past. Couple dabs of silicon to help hold in temporally. Just sayin! 🤷🏿♂️
