A friend and I built up a gen 6 502 a little while ago. I never was able to dyn it, but alway curious on the hp. Maybe some of you have built a similar engine and have an idea on HP. It’s in a 302 Mariah with B3 out drive and I’m having a tough time getting it propped right. Thanks in advance.

- stock crank, rods
- .030 over stock pistons
- comp cam .547 lift on in and out (295-014518k)
- edelbrock aluminum heads
- edelbrock rpm intake
- edlebrock 750 carb
- 1.7 scorpion rockers
- comp lifters and custom Push rods
- MSD billet dis
- Eddie marine manifold and risers

About 25 HP more than stock, exactly what heads, what compression, what are the rest of the cam specs, is it happy with a 750 carb ?

Prob 450-475hp

Be careful - Those carbs are calibrated for 330hp 454’s and small blocks.

And furthermore , i agree - def not enough carb for even a mild 502

I see that cam has 230/236 duration at @ .050, kinda short lift. I second griffs guess at 450/475
