I still remember many many years ago when I first came to a Florida beach and there was no dunes like Lake MI, I always thought how boring! LOL.

Brad, I believe those are for protection / break up the wakes / waves for moored/docked vessels.

we are on the very east end of the lake. Wind is always come straight into the marina. They do help break the waves coming into the marina.
