I would like to convert my 5.0 MPI to 5.7 MPI.
Can someone edit the engine control unit for me?
I also have the Axius joystick system.
Boat was built in 2009.

You cannot convert a 5.0 to a 5.7 but you can replace the 5.0 with a 5.7 or even 6.2

Reprogramming the PCM is not that easy and may not be able to be accomplished, but replacing with a factory one program for a 5.7/6.2 is

hello, yes of course I mean swapping to a 5.7.

The control unit is available new from Mercruiser for 5.7 with closed cooling and Axius.
However, it costs around 3000 euros per engine...

Yes it will be pricey, new ECM comes in at $2700 USD here

Not even able to buy a "new" 5.7, it's either the 4.5 or 6.2
If you get a new long block and ECM you should be able to use everything else off your motor

I would look at part numbers to see if there are any real differences. The tune for a 5.0 and 5.7 can't be that much different.

Do you have the engine serial number from the 5.0 MPI?

I will change the engines and test it with the 5.0 ECM.
i have Riser with AFR Sonde. So i look at Lambda (Afr).

You can not use a 5.0 ecu on a 5.7 without reprogramming.
