I am hoping that you can make a go of it. The V24 is a blast. The Achilles in the past has been the consistency and quality of the products. Build the boats correctly and properly maintain them and I believe that you will have more opportunities. Good luck!!!

I appreciate the vote of confidence. We have made significant investments to address consistency concerns, and ensuring continuous improvement in this area remains a top priority. Along with consistency, we are equally focused on maintaining the highest standards of safety and ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience for all involved.
Thank you.

My guess fwiw, you are going to hang a 450Merc OB on the back.

Batboats typically have either a Volvo Penta DPX or a Bravo 3 (mine had a Bravo 3) with counter rotating props. The hull is less 5' wide (not counting the wings) and rides on the keel. We tried a Bravo 1 and the prop torque made it hard to fly straight and level. I am betting that an outboard hanging of the back might move the center of gravity too far back, as it is designed to fly straight and level with an I/O.

The one unique improvement that we made was the addition of air conditioning. With vintage air parts and a large oil cooler we were able to stay cool.
