Axle Oiling lifters?

Putting together a motor and deciding whether to go, with axle oiling or not.... 598 solid roller setup... machine shop recommended NOT using the axle oiling as they said it dropped the oil pressure at idle significantly to their un-liking. Looking for opinions in a marine motor obviously.

Machine shop likes 10778C anti cavitation pump which is great for high rpm but known to have lower oil psi at idle, which in conjunction with the slight oil psi loss from the axle oiling is why I'm assuming he said to use lifter w/o it....
Trying to decide what combo I wanna go with, he said I could definitely do the tried and true M77HV, but I wonder if I can get away with the 10778 or 10778c

What do they think is too low? You don`t need much at idle.
15-18 psi after a hot run isn`t a problem . 10 psi per 1000rpm.
After I intalled spring oilers the pressure dropped maybe 4 psi. I had a high volume pump.
Those flow more oil than lifters

Don't need all that in a low REV situation. But going with a solid roller cam and running over 6500 RPM there is really only one choose, T&D or Jesel steel shaft mounted roller lifters. Used the Isky Red Zone (rebuildable) roller lifters. No deal to rebuild at $800 a set but really good stuff.
The T&D rockers have roller needles on the tip roller as well with spring squatter oiling for options. Big $$$ but never had an issue and spin up to 7200 RPM occasionally. Had them rebuild for this total engine rebuild and just finishing that up now. AFR Heads rebuild for the third time and first total rebuild. Can say this combination works with several hundred total hours.They are Teague 1400s. The Melling 77HV pump (as Rookie said) is fine with 20-50W Extreme race oil, the green stuff. You don't need over 15-20psi of oil pressure at idle.
