502 MerCruiser MPI head and cylinder issues
Had my engine rebuilt about 30 hours ago. Had to bore to .60 over. Motor started leaking oil out of the dipstick. Decided to pull the motor because there was so much pressure in the crank case. Once I pulled the motor, I noticed that it had scratches in some places on the cylinders and cross hatch marks and others. Looked at the heads, and the heads were burnt in between the cylinders and on the exhaust valves and seats on every cylinder. New to the forum and it won’t let me upload photos yet. Any ideas or is anybody had this issue before? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

you need 10 posts to be able to put pictures up. Do a count down with single word postings to get 10 posts and then put pics up.
