I have installed the Whipple supercharger system to my Mercruiser 350 MAG MPI but I need you guys help for trouble shooting.
Engine runs poorly and it seems to get too much fuel on idle. Engine runs unevenly because it wet some spark plug on idle and don't run on every cylinder.
We have check that distributor is correct and engine fires with every cylinder. Installation should be done correctly. We were very attentively with installing.
We tested to run engine injectors coupligs unplugged. Engine did idle perfectly with remaining fuel about 20-25 seconds.
Do you guys have ideas what we should check and how we get engine idle correctly with every cylinder? We haven't done lake test yet.

There is a special procedure for installing / locating the distributor in the 350 MPI engine, if the distributor was removed or turned with the clamp bolt loosened. Not sure it has anything to do with your problem, but just FYI.

Welcome to the pig rich world of Whipple........lol...........I had to have mine retuned twice and there still a bit rich, you'd probably be best off sending the ecm to Whipple and have them work on the fuel tables.

Not sure if your set up has a IAC valve but one of my engines was doing the same thing. The IAC valve was malfunctioning and would not idle and sometimes stall. I switched valve with other engine and the problem followed how I found it. Now I have a extra one on boat, with a coil.
