Hey guys, I need some help with coming up with something for this damaged engine mount block....The block was rotted out as well as the stinger...I have replaced like 4ft of the stinger and I'm butting them in...That part is coming along fine....What is the best way to make this block...I bought 1" think marine plywood and I was gonna stack them with a layer of mat between them and then cut that angle in on a table saw once they are glued...Does that sound ok? Thank you..

I would not use plywood it can swell and shrink, bolt on some 4 inch angle iron to stringer and use angle iron to mount engine mount on. Or use 1 inch solid hardwood instead of plywood

that fuel fill hose must be replaced this looks like a huge project! never seen the mount rust off the block?
