Default Miami Vice Stinger Help

Hi everyone, it's been a minute!

Some of you may remember me, I bought what was believed to be the Filming Support boat from the first season of Miami Vice. I was in the process of restoring it when the world took a dump "Covid". Then the actual Hero boat from season one that Don Johnson drove in the show popped up and I bought that as well. I was building a new home on the intracoastal near Cocoa Beach at the time that wound up taking 3 years and almost $1M over budget! I'm not crying, and no one is taking up a jar but I do need to finish the Filming Support boat so I can sell it, to start on the Hero boat. I need recommendations for the best shops in Florida to send the original 454/400's for overhaul as well as the Borg Warner transmissions and TRS drives. Everything was working when removed for structural and gel coat restoration. I just cannot in good conscience put it all back without X-ray / magna flux the engines and service / overhaul the trans and drives. SO, please respond with your recommendations, I would greatly appreciate it!

Thank you,
Tony Ierardi

My thoughts would be Speedmasters to look at the drives but they are closed now
A google search come up with Outdrive Repair Shop | Bradenton, FL for outdrive repair.

BAM for the transmissions.

Engine wise, I go with Atco, Sterling, Tyler Crocket, or Frank Mccomas.

If picking somebody in Florida I'd say Innovation Marine hands down for engines and BAM for transmissions. Both have been in the HP game a long time. If you believe in red flags, you won't find any on either.

Are all mentioned in Florida? Any way to get contact or look them up?

Thank you.

None are in Florida.
I assume he meant Ateco??? It took a buddy of mine over 2 years to get one engine done by them.

Maybe try Cobra Power in Miami, but I've seen mixed reviews about them as well.

I like the way the one boat looks without the windshield.
