Wondering how the go fast boating is down in outer banks, not sure if it's worth dragging my 30y2k down or just drag my 20 wellcraft down to bomb around with. Thanks for any suggestions.

I assume you are talking about coming to the OBX for a weeks vacation? Not much around the beach but inland just a little ways there are quite a few performance boats. We do a little fun run in August around Elizabeth City - Coinjock area that normally has 7-10 boats. If your doing a week long vacation probably better to bring Wellcraft.

How does one get in on the fun run?

The date doesn't get set till a little later. We put in at Hertford and run to Coinjock marina and eat. We leave there and head to Elizabeth city and hang out on the beach and then head back to Hertford. Its about 120 miles round trip. When I find out the date I can post it. Like I said its nothing formal just bunch friends doing it. We have 3-4 boats that do come from the VA area.

How long has this one been going on? I know some guys that used to go down that way mid summer to meet up for a fun run like that; wondering if it’s the same get together.

We have been doing it for probably 4-5 years. We have a few boats come out of VA, a orange 38 sonic (sold), red 38 fountain, red38 hustler (sold), white 31 AO or he brought his 38 sonic. We were just talking about the run this past weekend and needing to set a date for it.
