alright, who has been shopping around, what are the deals on interest rates right now, when I bought my boat a couple years ago they were a lot higher than now, what are you seeing out there

I seem to remember rates at the Fall Boat show going for 6% on new boats. I was looking for used and locked in at 6.75 through Essex Credit, then the boat I was after fell through. I ended up buying a used '98 at Thanksgiving and the dealer got me 6.25.

That sounds like a great deal on a used boat Steve, good credit is the key to low interest rates!!!!

Try Intercoastal Financial (www.boatloans.net). I have used them twice. For me, they were much easier to work with than Essex.

I have tried them all, We went with Bank of America 15yrs at 5.9%
