Boss is a white car stereo speaker of a basic grade. Baab is a high power handling speaker designed for the marine application from the ground up. The cones are annodized aluminum to be light for clean clear sound.
In a boat speaker, the cheapest becomes expensive after purchasing twice. You are better off buying an overengineered product that will last longer and impress often.
