Trim Tabs ??

I have a 212 Islander with a 7.4 MPI and 23" prop. Would the installation of trim tabs help with getting the bow down quicker and coming on plane faster, when pulling a skier?? I need more hole shot pop. I do not think it is a power issue as once on plane, the boat flys.
Any feedback would be appreciated.

Hey Dallas01
I have a Hammer with the 23 pitch and am able to ski just fine. I do have the inexpensive single cylinder tabs. They work great and allow me to ski without the nose heading for the sky. They also allow a lower planing speed for wake boarding and knee boarding. I use the tabs till I plane off, then put them up as they do screw up the wake a bit. If you go with the 21 there is no question you will come out of the hole harder, but you will also be bumping the rev limiter a lot if you decide to stop skiing and start to play with the boat.
