these trim tabs where used on 1998-and some 1999 26 sonics. looking to buy 1 trim tab cylinder( dual set up) one of mine is leaking . trim mater is out of buisness and need to locate one or possibly another brand that will be a direct replacement don't want to change whole set up . any body out there that can help ?

Just spend the money and put k's on it,I had them on my sonic and switched to the k's.Had nothing but problems,I accually snaped a cyl piston(Plastic junk).Sorry I really didnt answer your question....It just brought back a bad memories...

I can confirm that "K-Planes" on a 26 Prowler are perfect....They work great...

Can the cylinder be rebuilt? You might be able to find someone local. And keep an eye out for used K planes. Sometimes people upgrade to larger ones.

I fix my leaking cylinder very easy
u need 1 actuator piston seal 20X32X6 and one O ring 20X6
it cost me $12AU

i hope this will help you it is on smole trim tabs i got 6m boat

The cylinder is a plastic materisl and cracked !

My did not crack and i did not have tool to pull the part i just use wise grip to take the cap off not much in there
piston and rod and two seals
