Well guys, I finally did it, I am the owner of a 29 outlaw{well me and the bank] its an older model a 97, it is a pretty clean boat, I traded in my H2X and some cash on it and financed the rest, the H2X was my first boat I bought it new from Marine Max in Houston, hope I did the right thing here, what do you think?

Congratulations! What power is the boat & options. Have any pics? Hey, if you are happy and whoever else is involved with your purchase, then who cares is my thought. Hopefully, this boat does not have the stringer problem. Congratulations on your puchase!

Happy for you dude.
Let me tell you, 5 to 6 feet is like a mile on a boat. You will love it.
Did you do the right thing? "Hell Yes".
It will be fun not having to throttle back for wakes you had to with the H2X.
Take care and thanks for doing your part to keep our economy going.

H2X - You definately did the right thing, I was in the same situation you were I went from a 252 Islander to a 99 29 Outlaw, Dock is right, now I aim for the Cruiser waves because its fun to go over them now instead of slowing down and trying to keep my bow up like I did with the 252. Do you have K-Planes? Those make the ride even better in rough water. I told myself when I bought the boat, why did I wait so long in getting a 29 Outlaw. You will love it!!! Congrats, Eric

Hey thanks for the backing to all on the board, well the boat has twin 454mags in it, I have been looking for a while now, the boat I bought was the one Trent had for sale at www.dallasboats4sale.com we worked a deal on it, and I own it now, it has K planes SSt package, halon system, gafrig gauges, depth gauge, corsa quick and quiet ex, tube swim platform, all on a triple axle trailer that is white with mag wheels, it is a heavy boat, I towed it back Sunday from Dallas with a 1995 Z71 ext cab chevy truck with 350 power, I could really tell I had something behind me, a lot more than the H2X for sure, so far I like my "new " boat I will post some pics soon,

Chris, that is the boat, I did look at the 29 at Marine max, but I wanted the mag engines, not many of those boats around Texas right now, I started to wait to see if another boat popped up on the local market, but I think I did the right thing, I had to snap some pictures to mail to PMA in Florida for insurance, so I will post some pics when I get the film back
