I was talking with a prof. last Fri (I work for a university) when he told of a conversation he had earlier in the day with a student.
Seems the prof. told this student to enjoy the weekend and that he will see him on Tue. The student didn't understand and asked why no class on Mon. Campus is closed for MLK day.
The student is Afro American.
