I am at the local Walmart on the way home from work getting supplies for an upcoming snowmobiling adventure. Waiting in line behind a kid. Can't be more than 13 or 14. He has one item.....a small box......hands it to the cashier (who might have been 18) and it is a box of CONDOMS!!!!! WTF???? At that age I was scared to even kiss a girl, much less have sex with one. I was more into fishing, riding bikes, sledding in the winter, etc.... than girls. I asked the cashier "don't you have to be 18 or something to buy those??" Nope. But in retrospect, maybe it's better you don't. ?? At least this little kid had the thought to be responsible and practice safe sex. But if he's having sex with a girl his age, he could be in a LOT of trouble if the parents of the young lady find out. Statatory rape has no age limits as far as I know. Does it????
Just one of those things that make you say hmmmm......

Hell! If he lived in Jersey, they may have just saved him the bucks and given them to him in school.

Yeah, last year my wife came to me and told me that my oldest Son (now 11) is being taught sex ed in school. I was shocked.
After thinking it out however, I guess it is better that they understand it at an early age rather than not knowing and getting someone pregnant. It is still up to the parents to make sure the kids act responsible. If you keep the kids busy in life (especially teenagers), usually the sex thing is not something they go out and do (especially at 13). That is too young condom or not.

You guys got it all wrong, you've seen those water ballon launcher's haven't ya?, well now they have like a 8 man super launcher, and you have to use condoms to load this monster, it'll hold like 2 gallons, a regular ballon would bust on the launch from the centrifical force, so in the instructions they tell ya to use condoms because their so much stronger, yet with the 2 gallons of water they'll still break on impact, pretty nifty little item if ya ever seen one, well thats what I use to tell Mom an Pop when they found my stash.
