Default What was your very first boat?

I imagine this could be interesting to find out what some of your first boats were. I imagine there were some Bayliners and Thompsons as first boats.

Mine was a 14 1/2' 1995 Checkmate Jetboat with a 120 Sportjet engine. It would beat the holy hell out of you on Lake Erie, but was the ultimate boat to have on Lake Cumberland in the coves.

my first ride in a boat was at 5 months old. i basically grew up driving my parents' boats, but my first performance boat of my own was a '98 272 Baja 502MPI.

1980 Bayliner Eagle 1950
260 Mercruiser.

This was before all the "clone boat"
Bayliners were made.

Had alot of fun with that boat,
had a few different engine combo's
in it.
The biggest fun was outrunning
people in the performance boats
(water conditions permitting)

Sold it to a friend of mine,
he put a 415 hp 406 SBC in it,
it ran over 80, and faster than
the 91' bandit with a 502, that
I replaced it with

Saw the old boat just last fall,
been repowerd back down to
a more "sane" level.

So yes, I did own a Bayliner,
but then again, I get **** for
owning a Baja.

A 14' aluminum jonboat that I scratch built from scrap metal and plywood. I strapped on a 1962 9.9HP Evinrude and that thing would move at a blistering 6 to 8 mph. Man, I was stylin'
