Default How do you reclaim antifreeze at first start up?

I used the biodegradable antifreeze but still do not want to dump it in my yard when I start up for the first time this spring. Is there a way to reclaim it during start up? Most of my property's runoff leads to a stream that runs into the local resevoir.

For my through hulls I zip tie dryer hose over the pipes into a bucket and put a bucket under the bypasses.

I'll probably take mine to moms house and start it in her driveway!

It might be biodegradable but it degrades grass also. Neu-rich is right.

This may be a little sloppy, but you can alwys drain everything into the bilge and put a bucket under thedrain hole on the transom, just fill a small pail a few times, then you can use it next year. Just be sure to test the anitfreeze before you use it again.

Pull it out of the driveway and start it in the street.

Go to a local car wash that has a hose or an appartment complex.... friends house? When I lived in NY we just ran it into the street from the boat and the motor home water system...
