Speed.....

What kind of speed can I expect from a 2002 342 with 496HO's?
It's loaded with A/C, refrig, microwave, etc

This is just a guess, but I would guess you MIGHT crack 70gps.......just a guess though. Fever29 will know, e-mail him. He has a 342 with 454's

Dealer is going to let me try some of his race props. It has non-labbed 26 four blades from the factory. He thinks that I will pick up at least 2 more MPH after it is broke in.

That wasnt being sarcastic to you ,,, just dont expect it !!!!!!!!!

That would mean you would be picking up 30+ HP by the motors losening up.

Yeah, be careful of what this guy tells you, he is lieing by telling you it will pick up 2 mph.....unless he was talking about dialing it in or something. Just a motor breakin will not help you gain anything, and if it does, it would onlybe a few hp EITHER WAY according to a dyno. HAve fun with the boat though sounds sweet....
