Default MSD box and buzzer???

I have a 98 502 EFI with stock ingition and added a MSD box. I purchased their wiring harness to make it plug and play. Well, when hooked up it causes my warning buzzer to sound. It is not the full on buzzer, but I suppose more of a half volume buzz. I have called MSD and they were virtually no help. Has anyone else had any similar experiences or any ideas on a fix.

Thanks,
Bill

bill, sent you a e-mail awhile ago on the same problem i had . make sure you hook the black wire directly to the neg on the battery , i hooked the red wire to the common post on my battery switch for dual batteries. i originally had the black wire grounded to the exhaust manifold and that caused my buzzer to constantly go off faintly !!!! soon as i changed the black wire to the neg on the battery it went away.

Thanks, I will try that. I never did get that e-mail, unless it got deleted before I saw it.

Thanks again for the info,
Bill
