The wires them selves are the same. But do remember, you do get what you pay for. Just don't go out and buy the most expensive, fattest wire. 8mm is just fine.

I've asked lots of questions about this topic and never really got a great answer. I did get an email from Dennis Moore and there really isn't a performance gain to be made from spark plugs or spark plug wires. After debating about going with aftermarket plug wires and even talking to a rep. from Jeg's, I still ended up going with Merc brand wires. And here is something you don't see written everyday........MERC was actually cheaper than aftermarket from Jeg's.

I just went to mercruiserparts.com and bought my plug wires there. I don't have any reliable marinas close to me. If you want one stop shopping for the distributor cap and rotor, as well as an impeller, this is the place to go. I'm not sure about price differences but you could also check a few other places as bird-dog said!
