HDTV question for Audiofin
This weekend and again last night when I was watching the NCAA championships on my Hitachi 42" Hdtv,I noticed that the sound coming from the two announcers narrating the game was real low and the background noise from the Superdome was loud.When I switched back to the regular non HD channel the sound was normal,you could hear the announcers ok. Any thoughts on what may have caused this ? Thanks, Frank

Check and see if your sat unit is on AC-3 or SAP or (there is another but I am TOTALLY blanking right now. The one you need is the one I can not remember.

Turn off the fake surround or other "sound enhancements" built in to the TV.
