Question OT: cheap resorts at LOTO

anyone know of a cheap place to stay at the lake?
preferable somewhere between millstone and party cove or in the gravois arm?
i usually stay at millstone but would like to try some place cheaper and different. it needs to have slip rentals.
all i really want is a shower , bed , ramp , and a slip for the boat.

thanks in advance ,
steve

Robins Resort is a good reasonable place to stay just under the Grandglaze Bridge on the left side. Robin is a nice lady that was very accommodating when we stayed there.
Another place is Lazy Days, I think it's called, in Soap Creek in the Gravious Arm. I forget the owners name, but they are VERY nice there and have about the cheapest gas I have seen on the water! That's were I always got gas since my buddy's parents lived right across the channel.

When will you be going down? Hope to see you on the water.

Lazy Days is not in Soap Creek, it is on the last point before you get to Party Cove (has two coves, slips on eithe side of the penninsula, condos up high on the hill). And it is NOT cheap. Stayed there three times, and will not do so again simply because for the time I/we stay in the condo, you can get something a LOT cheaper. The steps from your condo to the water get old too......I think it was 78 from water to the top, and another 20 or so up the stairs to the condo....over 100 steps from bed to boat. TOO MANY!!! Cord found us a place this year at half the cost, right ON THE WATER, at the 20 mile marker (between the highway 54 bridge and Shooters). You might shoot him a PM to get the web address he used. Had a LOT of others in the same price range. Or ask Gordo, he seems to know where all the lower priced but clean places are.

call PMG

BTW, I know of a real nice one at Palisades, with a protected boat slip.

Yeah it was Tom's place. Sorry I got the name wrong
Whatever it's called Tom IS a really nice guy and the walk to the covered slips isn't far at all!

Might be Beauty View. I'm pretty sure that sounds right!

Depending on what you consider cheap, try www.vrbo.com
These are vacation rentals by owner. I was checking it out and found a 1br condo for $115 a night that included a 28' slip.

I've looked quite a bit online and for that size, its $200-250 a night depending on the resort and mgmt company.
