I have spots where there are hoses close in proximity, and some touching one another. Looking for "larger sized" standoffs, chazis-type brackets, clamps or devices to stand them off from one another to prevent long term chaffing. I can use Chazis Double T's for the ss braided remote oil filter lines, but not sure about how to standoff the fuel lines where they cross/touch on a 90 degree angle.

Any ideas?

I've used a piece of hose split lengthwise put it around the SS hoses zip tie at the cooling line and zip tie those to each other . they should stabilize each other.

Id like to here some good replies on this. I have hoses rubbing every where. I just run my finger under them to be sure its not rubbing through and think, well thats a breakdown asking to happen. Im putting it back on my list.

One option might be to get some stainless with rubber cushioning wire clamps/tiedowns, the expensive ones. Use the correct size clamp for each hose. Place the clamps perpendicular to one another with the flat tabs that would normally be screwed to a backing surface next to one another (flat to flat). Connect the two tabs with a bolt, washers, and a locknut to keep them connected at a right angle, and the hoses should be stabilized and non-chafing. You could even incorporate a strap as a stand off from the bolt to a hard point on the engine if you wanted. Bob.

Bob, I'll have to try that idea this weekend. I found some really nice Double T Clamps from Made For You at Street Rods by Michael, http://www.srbymichael.com/ which I can use for the remote oil lines. He has some pretty nice stuff in the dress'em up area, but I was hoping to find something a little bit fancy for the fuel line situation. I might be able to buy 2 of those Single T's in blue and bolt those together.

I also checked the OSO pictures section for other engines, odd, don't see too many carbed units, and the ones I see aren't similar enough for me to use for an idea base. The search continues.
