What does it take to convert an auto carb to a marine carb

Just curious.....

well, on a holley, the float chamber vents are in a u-shape so any fuel that comes out is directed down the throat, the throttle plate shafts are designed to keep fuel from leaking out the shaft bearing area and there are some intermediate metering circuit differences.
