Baja used to manufacture a 33' cat. One of the Rolling Thunders is a 33 Baja-I believe they may of won some of the local NJ races. A second Rolling Thunder is a Jaguar cat so I'm not sure if I'm mixing the two up. There was also a boat named "Kat" which was also a 33 and ran in the modified class years ago.

Bob,
To the best of my knowledge there were three 33 foot BAJA cats made for competition in 1985:
M7 BAJA
M43 Rolling Thunder.......later became C23 then C1 Rolling Thunder
P177 BAJA Bandit
and finally 333 Ofixco Special????35 footer raced in Open Class...later became 77 BFI Systems.
I believe all four of these boats won at least one race before being retired; I am not 100% sure though.
