Default Cable or Direct TV?

Which do you prefer?

I currently have regular cable due to Direct TV not carrying local channels here. Now Direct TV carrys the locals and I'm thinking about switching. I'll get a lot more channels with Direct TV and it's cheaper.

I have DTV & use the cable for Internet. The main reason I keep DTV is when I go out in RV I still have all the channels.

I've had both Direct TV and cable. I prefer cable.

I got a better deal from Dish network and love it. Great picture, and includes the locals in my area.

I switched from digital cable to Direct TV and Tivo about 2 years ago. I've loved every minute of it. I don't have a wide screen TV but didn't notice any difference between the two for quality. I think the value you get for Tivo and Direct TV is great.

I really like Direct TV. I'm currantly using digital cable because we're renting while getting ready to build a new house, and to me the cable is not nearly as clear as DTV. Another thing I like about Direct TV is that it seems to have more mindless options that I prefer like, Travel Channel, E!, MTV2, VH1 Classic...

If you have a large screen projection screen TV then I would go with DirectTV or Dish. I had cable for a while and the picture sucked on the big screen. The smaller TV's in the house were not as noticeable. Call DirectTV and find out when you are going to get your local channels. I have had mine for over a year now and am very pleased.

Not even close....DIRECTV!!! It's like the difference between listening to your favorite jams...First on the radio then on a CD......
