Delivering a boat Friday, Mapquest is sending me to Atlanta then south on I-75. A trucker buddy said no way,go all the way south in Al,hit the southwest tip of Geargia, then hit I-75. Anybody know best route? I don't always trust Mapquest.

I'd find the fastest way to Pensacola, then take I 10 to either I 75 or take Hwy 19 south to Crystal River, then take the Parkway to Tampa, then either 75 or 275 to Sarasota.

I'D STAY WITH 20W TO 285S(OR EAST) TO 75S BUT STAY CLEAR OF ATL DURING RUSH HOUR!Its only 2 hours to Atl and 65 had heavy construction last time I traveled it.

Thru Atlanta looks best on paper, but we would be going thru there about 9AM Friday,sounds like a bad idea at that time.Any other comments?I think I'm already hating this trip

Well,I solved the problem, I paid a buddy to take the boat with his truck,we are flying down on Southwest. Now I don't have to navigate.
