Do I need Drive Showers on TRS

Change the lube at leasts once each year. At the end of the season if it's cold there.
Take the drive off and lube the U joint/spline yearly.
Lube all the grease fittings on the gimbal several times a year.

Unless you are getting a chaulky buildup on the upper part of the drive signaling you are heating it up a bit then i wouldnt worry about drive showers.
On my old TRS setup i switched to RedLine shockproof heavy oil and never had a problem of any kind......even had less of that little metal dust that you find on the magnet when changing oil at the end of the season!

I wouldn`t think there would be any benefit to installing a drive shower on a TRS because the TRS has a pump in it and the drive oil is constantly circulating from the lower unti, immersed in the cool water, to the upper gear housing.
