Default Arneson drive ?

i have a 26' sutphen with twin hp 406's and i have arneson asd6 drives on it. right now the drives are spinning inward but i have handling problems, i was wondering what would hapeen if i swapped them to spin outward.

spin them out, maneuverability will improve dramatically.
you may need to add rocker to help pick the bow up.

What diameter and style of propellers are you using?

thanks for the info guys, well i ran it with them spinning out, and handling was great but i needed bow lift. now i was thinking about stand off boxes what do you think?

Try adding weight to the stern to help with the bow lift. Sand bags work great. If the boat like the added weight then work on moving the CG back. Or get a set of Rocker Plates.
