Mercury HP525 break-in ?
Started testing with a brand new Merc Racing HP525 today. Was kind of sluggish. Remained about 20% below expected speed. Can't say RPMs because Tach was inoperative (555 programming isssue.) While we are tracing possible issues: Does the HP525 (equipped with 555 ECU) have an automatic break-in period, where it doesn't go above a certain RPM etc.?
