I spoke with Patty and the run has been cancelled due to lack of response...but...there's always next year and with the success of the Summer Fun Runs, we will definitely be putting together a Poker Run...stay tuned.

They tried to charge me $3800.00 to rebuild a Bravo drive! It was bad enough Merc . would not warrantee it. It then self destructed within 1 hr of use. Then they would not stand behind their work. I was lucky that a very good friend of mine new someone who worked for merc and got me a brand new drive for free.

I stored it there for the winter and the head mechanic called after they winterized and said the fiberglass was cracked on the engine mount stringer and needed to be fixed. I said to prevent what happened last time with the drive, write up a proposal and send it to me. 1 month went by and I received no info. 2 weeks later I went to take the boat out of there to take it somewhere else to be looked at and they told me the work was done. I said "it was? Under who's authority? I did not give any go ahead for the work" The bill was over $4000.00!!! Well after some heated arguments we negotiated the price and I left, never to return!!!
