Time for a new gimbal ring. You will also be replacing the seals and bearings and the tiller shaft. It might be better to see if you can find a good used one from one of the OSO members.

there is a complete assembley cheap in the parts section. and no under any circumstance do not use your boat. if you do it will not be pretty.

You know thats really not that big of a job. You could probably do it yourslf on a Saturday. It's an expensive part, and I would replace the bellows while your at it.

Just to let people know I would never think about using it like this. It kinda wig's me out thinking about the fact that I was running WFO and wondering why the steering seamed alot more sloppy. TW ya I will pester Less sence I was testing his prop for the weekend.
