Bought a 8 qt GM Perf Parts oil pan for my Gen VI engine... trouble is, it doesn't come with the dip stick or the tube!!! I looked through the catalog on numerous occasions and can't find one to fit. The mounting hole is on the port side of the pan. Anyone got a part number or suggestions before I buy an aftermarket one, drain the oil, refill to verify the level, and scribe my own marks????

Call Pace Chevrolet. You can get their number from their website. I'm sure they can get the correct dipstick.

The only dipstick tube that I have found that works with the pan in about 4' long. I have bought the aftermarket ones & can not get them to fit in the pan without doing major remodeling. I will search for the part number.

My Gen VI 502 had the 8 quart oil pan, but the fitting for the dipstick is on the starboard side. The dipstick and tube for the HP500 is what I used, I can't see why it wouldn;t also work on the port side with maybe a little bending.
