Default Fuel Regulator Return line project Update!

Previous thread
http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/s...threadid=56091

Ok guys even in 115 Degree heat I managed to pull off one more project on this boat. I have read alot of posts about fuel regulators and talked to some very knowlegdgabel people including Aeromotive who made my fuel pump and regulator.

Anyway I decided to give you an update and help others out there tackle this job.

Here is a picture of where the return line on the regulator.

Now you need to locate your fuel fill at the tank.

Now that you have the hose off plug the fuel fill with a rag so not to cause a fire hazard. I know this is trivial but important.

Now that you have the hose off cut out a 3" section.

This line is very heavy duty and has steel wire embeded in it so when you cut you will need a cutting wheel. I used a chop saw with a basic cutting wheel attached. Gets a little smoky from the burning rubber

Now you can either buy the EFI fuel return line kit from Moroso, which is what I did or CP Performance sells just the return fitting alone.

The return line has a 90 degree bend it is important that you point this toward the tank. I know this is trivial but at least I covered it.

Last I attached the return line to the regulator using an Earls -6 pushon fitting and the job is done.

I hope this helps somone out, I know I struggled with this issue on a previous thread.
