Default Large Yachts

Hey,

For the large yachts i.e 70ft and bigger, do the owners have to have a captain's license or such to drive them? I know most of these owners just pay a crew to operate the yacht but what if the owner wanted to take it for a spin? Would they need any special licensing? No chartering, just driving it down the coast or to the Bahamas.

Thanks,
Lance
