Unhappy Isabel...

Izzie's done a number on my Baja. She wasn't flooded, and there are no major holes, so she will probably still run and float, but she is absolutely covered in dings, gouges, scratches, etc.

I'd be interested in any advice for dealing with the insurance company. The boat was kept in a FEMA area, but I have yet to find out if that means squat to boaters.

Also, the boat is in a field, resting on the outdrive right now. Is this likely to cause any damage other than the obvious where the prop and lower unit meet the ground?

Thanks in advance...

I feel for you. I was in a panic that I'd be in the exact same position. Call your insurance agent. I spoke w/ mine prior and was told that I'd be covered if anything was to happen. Good luck.
