Default Hey !!! I'm gonna inherit 18mil !!!

What a scam....this was emailed to me today....

Mr.K.MAKATA
24 Jan Smuts Ave, Sandton
Johannesburg, RSA.
Tel: 0027 731350023

Dear Sir,

I am Kenneth Makata and work for ABSA Bank,
Johannesburg, Pretoria.I have an urgent and very
confidential business proposition for you.

On December 8, 1998, a British businessman Mr. Pieter
C. Ansen who was a diamond dealer made a numbered time
(fixed) deposit for twelve calendar months, valued at
US$18,000,000.00 (Eighteen Million Dollars) in my
branch. Upon maturity, I sent a routine notification
to his forwarding address but got no reply. After a
month,we sent a reminder and finally we discovered
that Mr. Pieter C. Ansen passed away some sometime in
1998 without making a WILL, and all attempts to trace
his next of kin was fruitless.

I therefore made further investigation and discovered
that Mr. Pieter C. Ansen did not declare any next of
kin or relations in all his official
documents, including his bank deposit paperwork in my
bank. This sum of US$18,000,000.00 is still sitting in
my bank, it seems no one will ever come forward to
claim it thus the bank will quietly withdraw it from
the deposit account and convert it to bank funds.

Consequently, my proposal is that I will like you as a
foreigner to stand in as the next of kin to Mr. Pieter
C. Ansen. To do this, I want you to provide
immediately your full names and address so that I will
prepare the necessary documents and affidavits which
will put you in place as the next of kin. There is no
risk as all the paperwork for this transaction will be
done legally and my position in the bank guarantees
the successful execution of this transaction.

If you are interested, please reply immediately via
My email address, or efax below for further briefing,
Upon your response, I shall then provide you with more
details and relevant documents that will help you
understand the transaction.

Kind regards,

Mr Kenneth Makata

I would call him up and tell him you are on the way to africa and your south african connections will assist you in the making sure the transaction goes smoothly, and I would let him know that if you don't leave with the 18 million you will shoot him right between the eyes. Tell him you won't be in till late but not to worry you know where he lives.. Make it fun **** with them alittle, it will get you off oso for a little while during the day.

Hey Wardey,
If you can wait, I can personally pick up that money for ya in December when I visit S. Africa....no wait my Dad lives right around the corner from the guy. I'll give him a call & he can pick up the money today.
I grew up in that neighbourhood & that address does not exist in that area. Even the phone # codes don't add up??
PS Got new CMI headers on the boat and she's running great, still need to drop by and check out the boats you are building.
Later John

Tell Makata you' ll be over personally to pick up the money and you will also present him with a gift:
the "Goodyear necklace", like in the old days.
(that's a flaming goodyear tire)
